In this Watchesaleoff.com review, we're going to have a look at these guys' Breitling replica collection. I decided to have another go at the Transocean Chronograph, even though it seems to have a curse of some sorts. I don't know what is it about this particular timepiece, but most of the time, the dial isn't glued on properly and it just falls apart. But I'm not ready to quit yet, it's one of my favorite replica watches out there and I just love the mesh bracelet, it adds a touch of cool to the ensemble. Surprise, surprise! Well, in all honesty, I'm not actually surprised to see that this Breitling replica has the same old shifted dial problem. It's not the first time, but lately, it happens way more often than it should and it's really frustrating.
The thing is, not only the dial is in an offset position, but the subdials are too. Draw an imaginary line between the two centers of the subdials and you'll see that it doesn't go through to the middle of the crown. Hope it makes sense.
The movement inside this Breitling Transocean Chronograph replica is a quartz. I couldn't tell you if this is the source of the problem, but I doubt it. I've seen great quartz replica watches in my days, so it still remains a mystery.
If more attention would had been paid to the assembly (perhaps 10 more seconds), this would have been a decent watch. The mesh bracelet looks great and works like a charm, I'm not a big fan of the Breitling Transocean leather strap look. Also, the case is nicely polished, having an authentic feel to it.
What can I say… In the long run, the small details make the difference between bad replicas, decent replicas and perfect replicas.
